What you ask us
How much can I get for a house?
Up to €12,500: up to €6,500 for the heat pump, up to €2,000 for radiator and pipework upgrades and a €4,000 Renewable Heat Bonus. Plus €200 towards the technical assessment.
Do I need a technical assessment?
Yes, in most homes a registered technical advisor checks the heat loss of your home first. SEAI pays €200 towards it when you also get the heat pump grant.
Can I start the work before approval?
No. Wait for your grant offer from SEAI before any work starts, otherwise you lose the grant.
Is there support for businesses?
Yes — the Support Scheme for Renewable Heat (SSRH) gives an installation grant for heat pumps in commercial, agricultural and public buildings.
We will calculate it for you
